Gullfoss💦 this two-tiered waterfall was quite majestic. Pictures don’t do it justice! (Try to spot the people in picture #2 for perspective!)
• Wild & Free is the way to be • These beauties graced Iceland’s landscape, almost everywhere you turned. Their sweet demeanor made saying hello that much more special 🐴🐴🐴 #magicalcreatures #goldencircle
Next stop on the Golden Circle road trip are Geysers! Every 5-10 minutes Strokkur blows hot boiling water (with an odor of rotten eggs) and steam. There are many other smaller hot springs, fumaroles and mud pits nearby, but this one erupts regularly. Here is a sequence of photos I got!
Another shot of the beautiful blue water that is Bruarfoss waterfall 💧💦❄️ #mystopover
Second stop: Finding Bruarfoss waterfall, a lesser known stop along the Golden Circle, but so worth the trek! Walked up a dirt road, through a small path, over a few bridges before hearing the sound of rushing water. It was the purest blue water that I’ve ever seen; I couldn’t believe my eyes. (Can you find 2 little shadows? That’s us! Standing on the small bridge right over the waterfall) #mystopover
First stop on Iceland’s beautiful Golden Circle: this @unesco park where the North American & Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly separating by a few centimeters a year. & look at that view 🙌🏻
